Michael Crusan returned to the Eau Claire area joining News 18 in December, 2012. He previously worked in the Northwoods of Wisconsin as a reporter and anchor for two years. As a UWEC journalism graduate he's excited to be back in the Chippewa Valley covering the news of his neighbors.
In his free time Michael likes to enjoy the great outdoors and mountain bike, fish, play whichever league sport is in season and hit the lakes even when they are frozen. Brace yourself for this one though: winter is his favorite season. Being a Minnesota man the Twins, Vikings and Wild carry him through the sports seasons as a lifelong fan.
Michael's favorite news beats include the outdoors, health, community events and education. If you run into him out on a story be sure to say hello and shoot the breeze. Also, if he's out driving one of the News 18 cars to a story and singing along to the radio, please don't ask him to roll down the windows, terrible singer.
Michael can be reached at 715-852-5911 or mcrusan@wqow.com
