New park could be designated near Eau Claire County courthouse

Eau Claire (WQOW) - A new park could be in the works for the city of Eau Claire.

Wednesday night, the Eau Claire County board took up a resolution asking the city to designate the green space between the Chippewa River and First Avenue near the courthouse as Seley Park. It would be named after the late C.M. Seley. Seley was the chair of the town of Clearwater, what is now the city of Eau Claire. The resolution will go before the city council in March.
