EAU CLAIRE - A man who led police on a foot-chase that ended in the Chippewa River will not spend any more time in jail.
Robert Cody was sentenced this week to the two months he has already spent in jail.
Police chased after Cody for allegedly breaking into Bob Smith Window Cleaning and stealing some laptop computers last July. They said he then jumped into the river and refused to come out, because he had outstanding warrants.
Cody eventually tired and surrendered.
