February is Black History Month


MADISON (WKOW) -- February is Black History Month, a time to remember important people and events in U.S. history.

Black History Month isn't only recognized in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom also observe it.

Christy Clark-Pujara, a history professor at UW-Madison with Afro-American Department, joined us on 27 News at 5 to talk about Black History Month.
