Cameron (WQOW) - Charges are filed Friday for a stabbing in Barron County.

Sean Mason is accused of using a folding-knife to stab his estranged wife's new boyfriend.

Eric Belden suffered substantial cuts to the head and a stab wound to the chest. Cameron police say it started with an argument Wednesday evening on a street in Cooks Mobile Home Park. Police say Mason claimed Belden pulled a gun on him but a witness said all she saw was a cell phone.

No guns were found. Belden was airlifted to the hospital. Mason is in jail on a charge of aggravated battery.
