Menomonie (WQOW) - A snowmobiler had to be airlifted from the scene of a crash in Dunn County
Sunday afternoon.
The Menomonie Fire Department says
the driver lost control at the top of a steep hill on a trail. The driver
flipped end-to-end several times. Other
riders in the victim's group called for help, and had to give medics a ride on
a snowmobile to reach the scene. It
happened about five miles west of Menomonie.
There's no word on the person's condition.
The DNR
says at least 15 people have been killed in snowmobile accidents statewide so
far this winter.
