Fall Creek (WQOW) -- After Thursday, only one game will stand between the area's top teams and a trip to state. Fall Creek hopes to count itself among those squads.
The Crickets advanced to the division 4 sectional semifinal thanks to a 20-point win over Augusta on Saturday. Fall Creek now has its sights set on the program's first trip to the sectional final since 2009. Standing in their way is top-seeded Onalaska Luther.
"Our hands are full, but we're so excited to keep on playing here and to still be alive at this time of the year. I've already seen Onalaska Luther play this year, they're an outstanding team. They're very athletic, full court press, 84-feet from start to finish -- we'll have to play an outstanding game," says head coach Rick Storlie.
