EDGERTON (WKOW) -- Edgerton Police and the Rock County Sheriff's Department were called to the Edgerton Pharmacy on N. Main Street around 6:45 Thursday evening for a robbery.

The male suspect had entered and passed a note to the pharmacist demanding oxycodone and oxycotin. After obtaining an undetermined amount of the medication, he fled on foot.

The description of the male matches the suspect in the pharmacy robberies and attempted pharmacy robberies in the surrounding areas.

Anyone with information about the suspect's identity are asked to call the Edgerton Police Department at 608-884-3321 or Janesville Area Crime Stoppers at 608-756-3636.
