MADISON (WKOW) - UW senior forward Ryan Evans has been diagnosed with a right knee sprain and is questionable for Sunday's game vs. Purdue. Evans suffered the injury in practice on Thursday. Evans was unavailable to speak to the media on Friday but his teammate Jared Berggren was quoted as saying "it could have been a lot worse."
Evans has started 64 consecutive games. He leads the Badgers in rebounding with 7.6 and is third in scoring with 10.5 PPG. He is one of five seniors being honored before the Badgers final home game on Sunday when the Badgers take on Purdue at noon at the Kohl Center.
