Eau Claire (WQOW) - Moving to a new area with an entirely different culture can create a host of challenges. An Eau Claire group is trying to help those who are in that situation.
The Eau Claire partnership network met at the community table today to look into ways to better inform people about local services tailored to their culture.
The goal is to make sure people are utilizing what's offered and understand what's available.
"We're trying to network everything here so then we can, we won't be duplicating services and we will also be helping those support each other in our agencies, to grow," says Hmong Community Liaison Chue Xiong.
An example would be to educate low-income members of the Hmong Community about services like the Community Table.
