UPDATE: Local business owner no longer missing


MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police say that a Madison business owner reported missing was contacted Saturday morning and is safe.


MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison business owner is reported missing.

According to the Madison Police Department, the owner of Gyro House, on the 2700 block of East Washington Avenue, was last heard from around midnight on Thursday leaving the restaurant.

Police say Larnell Seals called his fiance and told her he was going to Woodman's East. He then called her around 1:00 a.m. and told her he was at Woodman's and would be home soon.

Seals has not been seen or heard from since.

Police describe Seals as a black, male. He is 5-feet-11-inches tall and weighs about 250 pounds. He has longer dreadlocks.

He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black t-shirt, black vest and blue jeans. He was driving a 1999 white Chevrolet van with WI plate 789-USA.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Madison Police Department or Crimestoppers.
