CHERRY HILL, NJ (WKOW) -- Subaru is recalling about 50,000 vehicles because the engines could start up on their own.
The so-called "zombie cars" include the Legacy, Outback and Impreza models from 2010 to 2013, and the 2013 Crosstrek.
Subaru says the problem is with the remote engine starter.
If the keychain fob is dropped, it could start the engine.
The recall begins at the end of April, when owners can get their fobs replaced by dealers, free of charge.
