Chippewa Falls (WQOW) - A Nashville based singer returned home Friday. Chippewa Falls
native, Anna Johnson, was in town for her 5th annual concert at Chippewa Falls Senior High School.

come back to my hometown and play for people that I know and who started this
journey with me when I started making music," says performing and
recording artist, Anna Johnson.
Johnson recently learned
a song she wrote is a finalist in an international competition. She says, "There's
a huge competition that takes place every year called the International Song
Writing Competition. It's broken into many categories; different genres of
music and well over 20,000 people apply in all those various categories. I
submitted my original song "Damaged and Bruised" and found out that
I'm one of 16 finalists in that category."
The concert begins at 7 p-m at the Chippewa Falls Senior High School.
Tickets are $10.
