Chippewa Falls (WQOW) - A Nashville based singer returned home Friday. Chippewa Falls native, Anna Johnson, was in town for her 5th annual concert at Chippewa Falls Senior High School.

Johnson recently learned a song she wrote is a finalist in an international competition. She says, "There's a huge competition that takes place every year called the International Song Writing Competition. It's broken into many categories; different genres of music and well over 20,000 people apply in all those various categories. I submitted my original song "Damaged and Bruised" and found out that I'm one of 16 finalists in that category."

The concert begins at 7 p-m at the Chippewa Falls Senior High School. Tickets are $10.
