
MADISON (WKOW) -- The Randolph boys basketball team won its tenth WIAA state championship by defeating Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran 48-42 in the Division 5 title game Saturday. 10 titles is the most out of any WIAA school
Randolph had a 7-0 run in the third period to regain the lead and held a 33-31 advantage to start the fourth quarter. The Blazers did take a short-lived lead with 3:44 to play in the game. However, the Rockets scored the final seven points of game, resulting in the victory.
Kyle Roberts led the Rockets with 13 points and nine rebounds. Others in double figures were Jay Peters and Aaron Retzlaff with 12 and 11 points, respectively. The Blazers were led by Voigt with 14 points.
