Eau Claire (WQOW) - Sentence is handed down for a man
convicted of cheating an elderly rural Eau
Claire man out of nearly $20,000.
Detectives say the 80-year old man
agreed to sell 34-head of cattle to Luke Kottke. But Kottke's check
for nearly $19,000 bounced.
Investigators said Kottke never had more than $3,000 in his account.
Kottke has
already made full restitution. He was put on probation Thursday, and ordered to
do five days of community service.
