MADISON (WKOW) -- It was time to celebrate a century for one local woman Saturday.
Hazel Tenney's family and friends gathered at the Sherman Avenue United Methodist Church for her 100th birthday.
"Well, it feels wonderful. I tell ya, if I knew it was going to be this wonderful to be 100, I'd have been 100 a long time ago," Tenney told WKOW.
She was born in Minnesota, but she and her husband have lived in Madison since 1953. They will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary next year.
