Madison's "leprechaun" brightens spirits of area children

MADISON (WKOW) -- It's not luck bringing smiles to Madison children, but a leprechaun is involved.

Joe Herr, known around town as "Sean Patrick" the leprechaun visits children in hospitals and schools on St. Patrick's Day. While "Sean's" job is to put smiles on their faces, Joe's job is to build home modifications for children with special needs. He formed his foundation, Logan's Heart & Smiles, in honor of his own son.

Logan was born on August 24, 1997 with cerebral palsy and died at age four with complications from pneumonia. His memory lives on through Joe's work to help other children.
