'Super Bowl' of cheese contests underway at Lambeau Field

Green Bay (WQOW)- With 1,700 cheeses it's described as the Super Bowl of cheese contests.

Judges at the U.S. Championship Cheese contest are tackling the challenge of picking a winner.

Tasting each cheese, judges at Lambeau Field chew carefully and make notes.
Cheese makers aim for the basics, good quality and good flavor, but say there's no perfect recipe for a gold medal.

The cheese championships continue Wednesday.. Judges expect to have the contest narrowed down to the "sweet sixteen" by the afternoon.
