Girl alerts officials of man offering ride to school

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police were alerted to a possible enticement incident.

A stranger, driving a white Dodge Charger with tinted windows, offered a 16-year-old girl a ride to school Tuesday morning.

The girl was waiting at a bus stop in the 2800 block of Post Road when the car pulled up to her.  The man spoke through an open window and offered her a ride.  She declined, and he proceeded to tell her how he found her to be very beautiful.

Her bus arrived and she reported the contact to a school official.

The girl describes the suspect as a black male, 25-30-years-old, and wearing a dark blue hoodie.

Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Madison Area Crimestoppers at 266-6014.
