New way for voters to get informed about local candidates

EAU CLAIRE - Election day is coming up on April 2nd, and now a local group has come up with a way to help you evaluate some area candidates.

The Good Government Council is a committee of the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce. The council sent a questionnaire to all candidates for Eau Claire City Council, and for the school boards in Eau Claire and Altoona.

Questions included whether they support school districts sharing services or facilities with other districts, what Eau Claire should do to encourage job creation, and whether the city should help fund the controversial Confluence Project.

All of the candidates responses have been posted on-line. To view them, follow the link found to the right.
