Governor Walker says fundraiser headlining doesn't signal run for President

Chippewa Falls (WQOW) - This spring, the governor will headline a Republican fundraising dinner in Iowa.  That state is the knowing as the launch point for presidential campaigns because of its first in the nation caucus.  Thursday, he was asked whether speaking at that event signals a potential run for president.

"I'm happy being governor. Who knows what the future holds, but I'm focused on helping the people of the state grow the economy and improve our lives, that's something, like I said, I had to work twice now in the last couple of years to do," says Governor Walker.

Other speakers who've headlined that Iowa event include Newt Gingrich and Michele Bachmann.
