MADISON (WKOW) -- A writer and former Wisconsin Public Radio reporter shows the lighter side of covering news.

Stephen Busalacchi just published a book called Wacky News Names: Monikers that Make You Smirk. Over the past 30 years, he's collected names that seemed funny given the context they were in.

For example, a dentist names Les Plack or a physician named Dr. Frankenstein. Dr. Frankenstein actually wrote the foreward of Busalacchi's book.

Busalacchi shared some of his other favorites on Wake Up Wisconsin, including WKOW's own meteorologist, Laurie Mercurio. Get it? Mercury.

You can learn more about the book by heading to www.wackynewsnames.com.
