GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- A Marine recruiter who worked in the Green Bay area is charged with using information from his recruits to solicit intimate photos from their female friends.
Child pornography was also found on 27-year-old Sergeant Andrew Curran's home computer. Curran has been charged with five counts of child pornography and two counts of misusing personal information. He's currently being held in the Brown County Jail on $100,000 bond.
Investigators say Curran told a potential recruit he was using the recruit's personal email and Facebook passwords for background checks. However, Curran used that information to solicit the man's female friends for nude photos.
A conviction on the charges carries a maximum 137 years in prison and fines up to $520,000, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
