Two Milwaukee teens arrested for prostitution at Eau Claire motel

Eau Claire (WQOW) - Two teenagers are facing charges of prostitution, after being arrested at an Eau Claire motel.

Jasmine Robinson and Elicia Burrows, both 17-year-olds from Milwaukee, were taken into custody early Wednesday morning. Robinson is also facing charges of child trafficking, because a 16-year-old girl was found in the room with them.

Police say they got an anonymous tip that led them to the Super 8 motel, where they found the three girls. Robinson admitted advertising for sex online, both here and in the Wausau area.

"I think we are seeing more of these individuals coming from outside of our community because of the location of Eau Claire. Being right along I-94 in between Minneapolis and the Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago areas, Eau Claire is a larger stop along that way," says Eau Claire Police Officer Kyle Roder.

Police say Robinson also admitted to trying to lure the 16-year-old into prostitution.
