MADISON (WKOW) -- A former school bus driver faces ten felony counts of possessing child pornography, after authorities said parents from different states contacted police over their daughters' online contact with the man.
36-year old Benjamin Minor of Mazomanie appeared in Dane County court Friday in a suicide prevention smock. A court commissioner set his bail at $2,500.
A criminal complaint states fathers in Florida and Vermont contacted authorities, after discovering sexually explicit text message exchanges between their daughters and Minor. The complaint states Minor admitted to online contact with as many as twenty potentially underage girls across the country, and sent a photo of his genitalia to one girl.
Minor said he was fired his school bus driving job last week.
Authorities said agents from the state department of justice seized child pornography images from computer devices used by Minor.
