OSHKOSH (WKOW) -- Among the eight airport control towers in Wisconsin closing because of the federal sequester spending cuts is Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh.
But when it shuts down, it won't affect the EAA AirVenture fly-in.
An EAA affiliated blog says certified volunteer controllers staff the tower during the summer air show.
The cuts could prevent military aircraft from participating in the event, though.
This year's AirVenture begins July 29th.
