St. Paul Police: Items found during search for Kira Trevino

St. Paul (WAOW) - There's new information in the search for a missing St. Paul woman.

Police say community members found several items Sunday during a search for Kira Trevino near Keller Lake in Minnesota.

Trevino has been missing for almost a month from her home in Minnesota. She is originally from central Wisconsin and is a UW Eau Claire graduate.

Kira's husband, Jeffery Trevino, is charged in her death, but her body has not been found.

A spokesman for the St. Paul Police Department says community members did find some items during a search Sunday and said that those items were handed over to police. However, he wouldn't comment on what those items were.

Officials say it's too soon to know if the items are related to Trevino's disappearance, but police will be reviewing them.
