Bloody footprints lead to charges in hotel death

MOUNT MORRIS (WKOW) -- Fifty-year-old Robert Kasun was found dead in a hotel in Waushara County on March 6.

Forty-two-year-old Travis Petersen, who was also staying at the hotel, has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide.  Investigators say bloody footprints led to Petersen.

Kasun had a fractured skull, broken rib bones, and a severed aorta.  Petersen is currently in Waushara County Jail on $250,000 bond.  A hearing will be April 5.
