Domestic dispute results in hit and run accident

MONONA (WKOW) -- Domestic dispute results in a hit and run accident.

The Monona Police Department received a call in the 6400 block of Roselawn Avenue reporting a man was struck by a car about 6:20 p.m. on Friday. The car then drove away.

Officers responded and found the incident started with a verbal argument between an adult daughter and her father. The caller, who was the boyfriend of the adult daughter, rushed home after hearing of the verbal argument.

The father, 57-year-old Alex Zuba, was packing his daughter's car to leave. As the boyfriend was attempting to remove the places from the car the father drove off hitting him.

The caller did not report any injuries and refused medical attention.  This is an ongoing investigation and the Monona Police Department is still looking for Zuba and the vehicle.

The vehicle is described as a 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier, blue in color, with Wisconsin registration 579UEA.

If anyone has any information about Zuba's whereabouts please contact the Monona Police Department at (608) 222-0463 or Madison Area Crime Stoppers at (608) 266-6014.
