Manchester, NH (WQOW) -- Wisconsin entered the NCAA Tournament as one of the hottest teams in the country. But all good things must come to an end.
The Badgers had their season end on Friday at the hands of UMass-Lowell, falling 6-1. While the loss stings, there is plenty of reason for optimism in the Wisconsin camp. The Badgers return all but three players next season. The team says it will use Friday's loss as fuel this offseason.
"We just need to build off that for the summer and continue to get back to work and get going from the start next year," says junior forward Jefferson Dahl. "We have a huge core coming back and it's definitely something to look forward to next year."
