WI Supreme Court candidates campaign Saturday

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Candidates got some last minute campaigning in Saturday, just three days ahead of the Spring election.

One of the most notable statewide races is for Supreme Court Justice. Marquette Law School Professor Ed Fallone is challenging incumbent Justice Pat Roggensack. Fallone says the state Supreme Court is due for a change.

"Everywhere I go, people are very embarrassed of our Supreme Court. They know we can do better. They come up to me and they say, 'Why can't our court work effectively? What can we do to get it back on track?' And that's why there's so much support for my campaign," Fallone says.

Roggensack also campaigned in the Milwaukee area Saturday. She believes her experience makes her the better choice come April 2. "You know, most of my job is spent deciding if another judge properly applied the law. I am able to give that question a much more thorough review because I've been a judge for almost 17 years, I've done the work of the other people that I'm judging," Roggensack says.
