Teen stabbed with kitchen knife during argument

MADISON (WKOW) -- Police say a Madison teenager needed stitches after he was stabbed by another teen on Friday night.

A Madison police report says the 13-year-old victim was at a friend's home when they got into an argument. The victim left the apartment and the suspect, a 12-year-old boy, followed him outside swinging two kitchen knives.

The victim told police he punched the suspect and blocked several attempts at stabbing but ended up with a 2-inch cut to the scalp.

The 12-year-old was arrested, facing charges of second degree reckless endangerment and battery.
