Constable Adolph Jacobson was shot in the back of the neck as he exited a house where he had just served eviction papers. He then turned and was shot in the stomach. He died the next day of his wounds.
Jacobson's young son, who was waiting in the car, witnessed the shooting.
Jacobson was constable in the City of Superior and died at the age of 61.
