MILTON (WKOW) -- The City of Milton Police Department announced that at approximately 2 P.M. on April 6th, there was a report of yet another residential copper theft burglary.  This is the fourth incident in Milton this year.

The vacant residence was located in the 300 block of Rogers Street.  Entry was forced through a window.  All of the exposed copper piping was taken; nothing else of value was reported stolen.

The City of Milton Police Department are asking owners of vacant homes, realtors and neighbors to be extra vigilant in securing the properties.  Neighbors should report any suspicious behavior at vacant homes.

Police estimate the incident happened sometime after March 30th, because that was the last time the homeowners were at their home.
