Sawyer County (WQOW) - Prison time is ordered for a driver convicted of fleeing the scene of a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Sawyer County.

Jacob Collins was sentenced yesterday to ten years in prison.  Investigators say Collins, from Hayward, pulled out from a side road onto Highway 77 and hit a motorcycle.   The passenger on the bike, a woman from Ironwood, Michigan, was killed. Investigators say Collins and his two passengers ran from the scene.  The crash happened last July, near Hayward.
