ST. CROIX COUNTY (WKOW) -- A witness in the trial of Aaron Schaffhausen has been charged with making threats.
Joseph Rollag was arrested Friday morning at the St. Croix County Courthouse. He's a friend of Aaron Schaffhausen and was there to testify in his behalf.
Schaffhausen admitted killing his three girls last summer. A jury will determine if he was sane at the time.
According to the charges, Rollag approached courthouse security on Friday and demanded to speak with the defense attorney or quote "bad things would happen."
Investigators say he had two, large folding knives with him. A psychiatric nurse, who's been evaluating Rollag says he was having violent thoughts.
Rollag now faces four charges, including threats to a witness.
