MADISON (WKOW) -- Shawano police say a 17-year-old Gresham boy was at a residence in Shawano Saturday night and wanted to sell some drugs, when he was given a phone number. He texted the potential buyer offering 42 pills of Tylenol with codeine, in exchange for $120 and cigarettes.
Turns out the person who received the text was Stockbridge-Munsee Police Chief Jim Hoffman. He contacted Shawano County sheriff's deputies who worked with local police to set up a fake drug purchase and the teen was arrested.
The Shawano Leader reports the teen is charged with drug possession with intent to deliver.
