Menomonie teen charged with multiple burglaries

Menomonie (WQOW) - The teenaged suspect in a Menomonie armed robbery now faces multiple counts of burglary.

Andrew Johnson, 17, is now charged with burglarizing five businesses in Menomonie. Most of them happened in 2011. Police say Johnson confessed.

Johnson was charged last year with robbing a Menomonie convenience store at gunpoint in November. At that time he was also charged with breaking into two other businesses. He is pleading innocent by insanity in those cases.
