Stabbing suspect charged with attempted murder

Eau Claire (WQOW) - Attempted murder charges are filed today against the suspect in a weekend stabbing in Eau Claire.

Quentin Roby is accused of stabbing 19-year old Amery Little in the chest with a pocket knife. Doctors say the blade went through her ribs, penetrated her liver and caused internal bleeding.  She was upgraded today to 'fair' condition.

Roby had allegedly been drinking all day when he showed up Saturday night at an apartment on Southridge Court. According to police witnesses said he was trying to pick fights with everyone and held the knife to Little's throat.  When she said she was not afraid, he allegedly stabbed her.

Roby's bond was set Thursday at a quarter-million dollars. He faces up to sixty years in prison if he's convicted.
