Heroin bust in Berlin


BERLIN (WKOW) -- Thursday evening, around 5:45, officers and investigators with the Berlin Police Department were assisted on an ongoing heroin trafficking investigation in the City of Berlin by the Green Lake County Sheriff's Department, Waushara County Sheriff's Department, Members of the Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force, and the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations.

A search warrant for a residence on Webster Street was served.  Upon execution of the search warrant, a total of approximately 20 grams of heroin was seized.  The street value is estimated at $10,000. 
28-year-old Dana Johannes-Chew was arrested on multiple drug related charges and transported to the Green Lake County Jail.
Captain Kevin J. Block says this was largest quantity of Heroin ever seized by the Berlin Police Department.
