Local man accused of setting off homemade bombs

EAU CLAIRE - A man charged last week with making bomb threats is now accused of setting off homemade bombs as well.

Justin Woody has now been charged in connection with four of the explosive devices that were detonated in December and January. Investigators say the devices consisted of plastic bottles filled with aluminum foil and toilet bowl cleaner.

The explosions all occurred near Fairfax Street, near Woody's residence. Just last week Woody was charged with phoning in bomb threats against the Eau Claire County Courthouse in December.
