She's a Justin Bieber fan, a social media phenomenon and most importantly an inspiration to those fighting cancer--- Aly Wolff is determined to make the disease a thing of the past.

Wolff learned she had cancer during her freshman year at UW Oshkosh.  Her story struck a chord with thousands of people on social media through the #BiebsMeetAly campaign, aimed at connecting superstar Justin Bieber with Wolff before a concert in the Chicago area.

Wolff stopped by Wake Up Wisconsin to talk about what it was like to meet Bieber and her new effort to raise money and awareness for cancer research.  The McFarland native is planning a 5K called "Aly's Honky Tonk Hustle" to sign up click here.

Cancer affects all of us.  Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings and friends are diagnosed each day and have to begin a fight for their life. The #BiebsMeetAly campaign helped one of Aly's dreams come true.  Now, because of that support Aly's family and friends, along with Aly, would like to give back.  They want to ensure no one else has to go through what Aly has to endure every day while she fights this battle.

"Aly's Honky Tonk Hustle" is Saturday May 18th.  It begins at 11:00 a.m.
