Wife of an ex-judge confesses to TX DA killings

KAUFMAN COUNTY, TX (WKOW)-- There's been a break in the string of murders of a Texas District Attorney, his wife and an assistant prosecutor.

On Wednesday, Kim Williams, the wife of former Kaufman County Justice of the Peace Eric Williams, confessed she was involved in the deaths of Michael and Cynthia McLelland and the death of Mark Hasse.

In her confession, Kim implicated her husband in the shootings. Authorities say the killings were motivated by revenge; both McLelland and Hasse prosecuted Williams for stealing government computers.

Capital murder charges are expected against Eric Williams as early as Thursday.
