Ali Becker Resigns As Chippewa Falls Girls Basketball Coach

Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls (WQOW) -- For the second time in three seasons, Chippewa Falls is searching for a new girls basketball coach, as Ali Becker resigns today to take a teaching and coaching position at Stanley-Boyd.

Becker was Chi-Hi's head coach for the past two seasons.  In that time, Chippewa Falls won a pair of WIAA Division 1 regional titles.

Becker will be teaching high school and middle school health and physical education at Stanley-Boyd.  She says she'll also be coaching junior varsity volleyball and basketball.

Ali Becker tells News 18 Sports she's looking forward to joining a great school district, but adds it's bittersweet, because she'll miss her players and staff.
