MADISON (WKOW) -- To promote head and neck cancer awareness, UW Health head and neck cancer physicians will offer free oral cancer screenings this week.

The screening takes about 10 minutes and will be offered on Friday, April 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in private exam rooms at UW Hospital and Clinics.

Registration will be located in the second floor atrium outside the main entrance of the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Clinics and the UW Carbone Cancer Center.

Advance registration is not required, screenings will come on a first-come, first-served basis and parking passes for the hospital parking ramp will be validated for participants.
