Whitewater crash results in four injured, man arrested for OWI

WHITEWATER (WKOW) -- Walworth County Sheriff's Office says that around 8:00 p.m. Saturday night, there was a two-car crash in Whitewater on State Highway 12.  Four people are in the hospital.

Jeremy B. Colberg was one of the drivers.  He was arrested, and his charges included operating while intoxicated, which would be his third offense, and four counts of great bodily harm.

In addition to the arrest, the Department of Corrections - Division of Probation and Parole has placed a hold on Colberg because he was on Parole for a previous drug arrest.

The people in the other vehicle were trapped until the Whitewater Fire Department rescued them from the minivan.

The minivan driver was 73-year-old Illinois resident Felix Yavnoshan.  He was flown out of the accident by Flight for Life and is currently in a Madison hospital.  His passengers, 73-year-old Yelena Yavnoshan, 50-year-old Igor Yavnoshan, and 46-year-old Olga Yavnoshan, are in hospitals in Madison, Fort Atkinson, and Janesville.

All the occupants of the minivan sustained broken bones and/or critical internal injuries.  There is currently no update on their conditions.
