MADISON, Wis. -- The dates and times are not yet set, but the opponents for the Wisconsin men's hockey 2013-14 schedule are determined.
Highlighting the season's schedule at the Kohl Center are the five series against members of the newly-formed Big Ten hockey conference. Beginning next season, Wisconsin will play host annually to Minnesota, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State at the Kohl Center for league games. The Badgers will also take return trips to each of those schools for conference action.
In addition to the Badgers' 10 Big Ten home contests next season, UW has home series scheduled with former WCHA foes Colorado College and Alaska Anchorage, as well as Northern Michigan, Alabama Huntsville and Lake Superior State.
UW's non-conference road opponents will include Boston College, Boston University and Miami.
The non-conference portion of the schedule is subject to change.
The 2013-14 season opens with the first practice day on Saturday, Oct. 5, while UW's first game takes place on Friday, Oct. 11 against Northern Michigan at the Kohl Center.
