Sturgeon spawn begins

OSHKOSH (WKOW) -- The sturgeon are finally beginning to spawn in Wisconsin.

State wildlife officials say the cold spring has delayed the prehistoric fish from the spring spawning season, but the water warmed up enough this weekend to get them in the mood.

The sturgeon swim up the Wolf River in eastern Wisconsin each year to reproduce.
