Dunn Co. (WQOW) - A stretch of I-94 in Dunn County is closed Thursday morning, due to a fatal crash involving two semis.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says it happened on eastbound I-94 near Menomonie around 1 a.m.  It's believed a semi rolled due to slick conditions, and another semi struck the first.  The driver of the first semi was killed.  Authorities say he's a man in his early 50's.  They've not yet released names or where the drivers were from.

The stretch of I-94 where the crash happened is still closed as of 5:20 a.m., around mile marker 35 near Menomonie.  Crews are trying to clear guardrails that were hit in the crash. The State Patrol is detouring drivers to exit at Highway 28, to Highway 12, then to Highway 25 back to I-94.

Continue to check back for updates to this developing story.
