Fitness expert talks about spring workout routines

MADISON (WKOW) -- Spring is officially here and it can be hard to cram a workout into your routine after a long day.

Fitness expert and personal trainer, Kelly Jones, joins Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend to give some fun, easy spring workout tips.

Kelly says these exercises can be done in front of the TV, outside on the lawn or even during a lunch break.

Here's the workout routine Kelly suggests:

Exercise 1: Body Weight Squats (Feet hip width apart. Squat down keeping knees in line with 2nd and 3rd toes and weight on heels.), 20 reps or 30 seconds, 0 seconds rest.

Exercise 2: Push-Ups (any style including wall push-ups), 20 reps or 30 seconds, 0 seconds rest.

Exercise 3: Ab Curl-Ups (Lay on floor on back, feet hip width apart, knees in line with 2nd and 3rd toes. Curl shoulders off floor while contracting abs.), 20 reps or 30 seconds, 0 seconds rest, Exercise 4: Body Bridges (Lay on floor on back, feet hip width apart, knees in line with 2nd and 3rd toes. Lift hips up in air till body is a straight line from shoulders to knees.), 20 reps, or 30 seconds, 2 minutes (120 seconds) rest.
